5xx status codes

5xx status codes refer to a category of HTTP response codes that indicate server-side errors. These codes signify that while the client’s request was valid, the server encountered an issue preventing it from fulfilling that request. Common examples include:

– 500 Internal Server Error: A generic error message that indicates something has gone wrong on the web server but does not specify what.
– 502 Bad Gateway: This occurs when a server acting as a gateway or proxy receives an invalid response from an upstream server.
– 503 Service Unavailable: An indication that the server is temporarily unable to handle requests, often due to maintenance or overload.
– 504 Gateway Timeout: Happens when a gateway or proxy does not receive a timely response from an upstream server.
